Miriam Karmali

Advocacy Assistant

As Advocacy Assistant, Miriam supports the team in creating and executing campaigns.  After completing her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Politics at the University of Bath, she volunteered with the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WLPF) in London.  In those roles, she worked in communications and research to advance human rights and gender equality. While spending time in Chile, Miriam gathered data for her dissertation on International Human Rights which ultimately moved her to pursue a position with Freedom United.
